Fake Elector Scheme & Prosecution. Trump decided he would not leave office, that he would retain power. This set in motion a scheme to preserve the election victory Trump claimed was stolen. Attorney Kenneth Chesebro was identified as the architect of the fake elector scheme in multiple states. He was assisted by Trump, John Eastman, Roger Stone, Mark Meadows, Mike Lee, Ivan Raiklin, Rudy Guliani, Mike Roman, and others in multiple states. The scheme was to submit fake electors from certain states and then get Mike Pence to select those electors rather than the official ones. Some 87 fake electors in seven states were roped into the scheme. Pence refused to select the fake electors, and then Trump’s mob started chanting “Hang Mike Pence!”

After Trump’s six business bankruptcies in 1991, 1992, 2004, and 2009, Trump lost funding from American banks. Trump’s son Eric told a golf magazine journalist that they had all the funding they needed from Russia. In 2013, Trump told Real Estate Weekly, “The Russian market is attracted to me, I have a great relationship with many Russians.” The Russian elite invested nearly $100 million in Trump buildings. Some of the Russian purchases at inflated prices might have been considered money laundering.

Laura Loomer & Looming Crisis. MTG and MAGA dislike the outside conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer. Loomer, who calls herself a “proud Islamaphobe,” and “Feisty Jewess,” made racist comments about Harris as Loomer wormed her way into the Trump entourage. Hispanics remember that when Puerto Rico was devastated by Hurricane Maria, Loomer’s response was “Why waste our money, let the Spic’s die.” Loomer posted that MTG and her boyfriend “are both gutter trash.”
Trump has never criticized Putin. Instead, he has praised Putin and disparaged American allies. Trump praises or tolerates autocrats like those in Hungary, Russia, China, North Korea, Turkey, and elsewhere. When confronted in interviews about Putin being a killer, he defends Putin by saying the USA is a killer. This is a false equivalency and disparaging of his own country. When Putin invaded Ukraine in 2022, Trump immediately said the move was “brilliant...genius...very savvy,” but later back-tracked and condemned the invasion after considering his political prospects.
Harris succeeded at getting under Trump’s skin, offering him bait he could not turn down. Trump went off on crowd size again. Harris attacked Trump’s presidency by quoting his former Cabinet Secretaries. Trump simply looked ahead, not at Harris. Trump gave excuses for why Trump Cabinet officials disparaged his job as President.

Trump Stinks. Although there are some doctored photographs and satirical memes on the internet, some photographs show Trump with a full adult diaper. Some rabid Trump supporters carried signs saying, “Real men wear diapers,” and others put that slogan on T-shirts. Trump undoubtedly has bowel incontinence. There is no agreement as to why, but the recurring theories include previous addiction to stimulants, diet, obesity, lack of exercise, or other loss of control over bowels. Witnesses have noticed the odor when in close contact with Trump.

Harris is a Better Choice Than Trump. There are only two politically viable choices. Harris and Walz have the last clear chance to stop Trump from a second term of office. We need to avoid the injustices of Trump (1) having his Attorney General dismiss the federal charges against him, (2) pardoning the Capitol rioters who assaulted police, (3) providing friendship to Putin and hostility to Ukraine and NATO, and (4) endorsing Trump’s brand of racism. Some things are more important than political positions: honesty, the Constitution, the defense of democracy, the rule of law, and the Presidential Oath of Office. Of course, Trump fans believe the Democrats are a threat to democracy.
Biden stepping down removed the entire Hunter Biden/Burisma/Ukraine and laptop saga from the issues. Kamala Harris was not vice-president during those events. That cluster of whataboutism sometimes constituted half of the MAGA defense of Trump. Both Biden and Trump misbehaved relative to Ukraine, and now that corrupt equivalency is gone. All that remains are Trump’s Ukraine activities for which he was impeached.

In 2024, Trump claimed he could end the Ukraine-Russia war with one phone call. While not believable, this boast reveals that Trump has a special relationship with Putin. Real estate in the USA can be purchased anonymously through obscure business entities. While Trump was in the White House, some anonymous real estate purchasers bought units in Trump’s building(s). A review of Trump’s decades-long business with Russia and public statements leads many to conclude Trump is a Russian asset. That is the only explanation for his post-bankruptcy financing, statements, actions, and omissions in support of Putin’s tyranny and against Western Europe and NATO.

The World Laughs at Trump. When Trump gave a speech at the UN, the ambassadors derisively laughed at him. They laughed when he told the world leaders his two years in office accomplished more than any other administration. Shocked, Trump said, “I didn’t expect that.” The laughter of world leaders contrasts sharply with Trump’s claim to be a tough guy on the world stage compared to Harris, who he said would not be respected on that stage. Foreign leaders have confided in Kamala Harris that they dislike and belittle Trump.

It is hilarious that MTG, a purveyor of unfounded conspiracy theories, is the one faulting Trump in public for associating with another purveyor of unfounded conspiracy theories. MTG’s concerns suggest the Trump Campaign is not big enough for two bigoted conspiracy theorists, each pursuing different wild conspiracy theories. An element of jealousy pits these two women against each other. Each wants to spend quality time advising Trump on conducting an election campaign. Loomer lost the two political races she entered as a candidate, so winning elections cannot be her specialty Loomer is 31, MTG is 50, and Trump is 78. You can do the math and see that Trump prefers younger, more slender women.

Fighting the Last Battle. Conservatives no longer need Trump to overturn *Roe v. Wade*. It already happened. The controversy has gone to 50 states and left Washington, DC. Changing the composition of the U.S. Supreme Court is a slow process. Democrats seem intent on impeaching Clarence Thomas for excessive gift-receiving and failure to report those gifts. If successful, that would give Democrats another Supreme Court appointee.
Charges were filed against the fake electors and conspirators in four states. Some states did not prosecute. The treatment of defendants varied from state to state. One thing is clear: Trump is not paying the legal bills of the indicted individuals.

Men and women from south of the border did a great job when they installed my roof and hardwood floors, painted my house inside and out, and performed landscaping work. The crime rate of illegal immigrants cannot be determined because only Texas records the home country of those it arrests. The agricultural economy of Alabama and other states depends upon illegal immigrants. A professor at the Univ. of Alabama found that full enforcement of Alabama’s anti-immigrant statute would significantly harm the state’s economy. Emptying insane asylums and prisons is a myth. Harris wants to sign into law the bipartisan border bill that Trump killed.

Long Tail of the Big Lie. Despite all evidence to the contrary and zero evidence to support their opinions, an alarming number of Republicans continue to believe the 2020 election was stolen from Trump. That significant numbers still fall for the Big Lie is distressing. In August 2023, 69% of Republicans in one survey did not believe Biden’s win was legitimate. Then, only 39% of Republicans thought there was evidence to support an illegitimate election; the rest just had suspicions.
The ABC moderator announced that ABC checked with the Springfield, Ohio city manager who denied reports of immigrants eating dogs and cats. Trump and friends thought this indicated bias, but the moderator, for once, stood up to an unfounded and disproven conspiracy theory. True to form, Trump immediately after the debate blatantly lied that their polls or reviews showed him winning the debate by wide margins when Fox News’ group voted by a large margin that Harris won the debate. Trump again said the country is in severe decline. Brit Hume, a senior political analyst for Fox News, stated bluntly that Trump had a bad night, and Harris had a good one.

Trump did not keep his campaign promises to balance the budget, grow the economy by 4 percent a year, bring back manufacturing, create a health savings account, invest $550 billion in infrastructure and create an infrastructure fund, get Congress to allow health insurance across state lines, remove all undocumented immigrants, triple ICE enforcement, deport 11 million illegal immigrants, end birthright citizenship, have something better than Obamacare, build the wall and make Mexico pay for it, etc. The Trump-O-Meter Scorecard at PolitiFact shows Trump kept 23% of his promises, compromised on 22%, and broke 53% of his campaign promises. Many Trump backers wrongly believe he kept all his promises because that is what Trump told the world early in his Administration.

The long tail of the Big Lie corresponds to the long trail of broken lives, political deaths, financial difficulties, and legal problems Trump left in his destructive wake. Look at all the supporters who have been convicted of crimes related to the Russia Investigation and J6. The broken lives, injuries, deaths, property damage, and disrespect for democratic institutions stemming from J6 and Trump’s dishonesty are little mentioned by Trump. The animosity Trump injected into our country was harmful.

The Role of Vice-President. Texan John Nance Garner, FDR’s first vice-president, famously described the job of vice-president as “not worth a bucket of warm piss.” Under the Constitution, the vice-president only has three jobs: preside over the Senate, break ties, and count Electoral College votes. Officially, there was not much for Kamala Harris to do and not much she had the authority to do. Trumpsters are busy making her responsible for the Biden Administration, but that is not close to the mark.
Putin is a murdering, dishonest kleptocrat and autocrat. The head of free nations should never be friendly to autocrats who kill their election opponents, commit war crimes, invade innocent countries, steal from their people, deny freedom of the press and speech, monitor the internet, and work with dictators around the world to help each other. The ICC issued a warrant for Putin’s arrest for war crimes, namely kidnapping Ukrainian children and taking them to Russia.
Harris understands the Constitution, promises to stand on the side of freedom and against tyrannies, and has the legal training and experience to understand the rule of law fully. Her husband is a lawyer, too. She will respect Congressional Medal of Honor winners, their families, and all injured and fallen heroes. A vote for Kamala Harris will best protect and defend the Constitution.
Loomer had a bad influence on Trump as he entered the debate. Trump does not take the advice of his advisors. Trump is dumb and getting dumber.
Harris is a normal human being and has stayed out of trouble. Trump is erratic, rambling, hypercritical, digressing, and whining, and he does not usually speak in complete, well-formed sentences like most politicians and public speakers. Trump has put himself in continuing trouble with multiple crimes, lawsuits, prosecutions, controversies, and personal disputes.

In 2018, Trump declined a scheduled visit to the Aisne-Marne Cemetery, where over 2,200 Americans are buried. Trump said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” On the same trip, General Kelly said Trump called U.S. Marines who died at Belleau Woods “suckers” for getting killed. One of Gen. Kelly’s sons was killed in combat.

Trump had a chance to admit any regrets for J6 at the debate. He had recently admitted “coming up a bit short” or “losing by a whisker” in the 2020 election. True to his course after a major spoken gaffe or admission, Trump now says those truthful-sounding comments were sarcastic. Trump cannot bring himself to admit the absolute illegality and unconstitutionality of his dumb J6 Capitol invasion and his ties to the unfounded conspiracy theory groups he employed. Of course, he is being prosecuted for felonies stemming from those events, so his criminal defense lawyers may have limited his speech and debate admissions.

Unsubstantiated Conspiracy Theorist Conflict. There must be an iron law regarding unsubstantiated conspiracy theories and theorists, with at least three principles. First, over time, conspiracy theorists will not agree with each other. Second, conspiracy theories change as theorists jump from one conspiracy to the next. Third, candidates jump from one conspiracy theorist to the next.
Lindsey Graham advised Trump to focus on policy. Laura Loomer responded to Lindsey Graham’s criticism by posting “When is Lindsey coming out of the closet? We all know you’re gay, Lindsey… and that’s ok.”
This political infighting breaks out when Kamala Harris pulls ahead in the polls. It signifies fundamental problems in the Trump campaign and their candidate. Trump and Loomer seem to be having an affair. The stupidity of his visible proximity to Laura Loomer and his tacit embrace of her postings is toxic. These are some of the dumbest political moves any presidential candidate has ever made.
Trump, who probably never had bone spurs, disparaged wounded and deceased Congressional Medal of Honor winners by saying the Presidential Medal of Freedom he gave to a civilian Israeli-American billionaire donor was better because the donor was not injured or killed. This was the last straw for me. This is reminiscent of him saying he liked warriors who were not captured. McCain’s daughter and son will never forgive Trump for that. A documented string of disparagement of fallen veterans and military service preceded Trump, suddenly in 2024, acting like he cares.
Bob Woodward tells us Fauci, Azar, and Redfield went with Pence to see Trump about Covid. They advised shutting down air travel from China and establishing a quarantine. After asking questions, Trump agreed. Within two months, Trump claimed he alone out of 21 people wanted the travel ban he imposed, taking sole credit for the shutdown and then claiming he avoided thousands of deaths.
Claimed Existential Threats to Democracy. Both parties are guilty of claiming that the election of their opponents threatens democracy itself. In this context, the specific term “Constitution” rather than the general term “democracy” would better describe what is at stake. Suggesting one election will overturn 235 years of adherence to the Constitution does not sound very likely.
Kenneth Chesebro pled guilty in Georgia to one felony count of conspiracy to commit filing false documents. In June 2024, charges against Chesebro were filed in Wisconsin. Trump is under indictment in Georgia election interference where three of his co-defendants were Georgia fake electors.
As Leon Panetta said at the DNC, Trump is the only president since the Second World War to side with dictatorships against democracies. This fundamental disloyalty to the United States overcomes multiple objections conservatives would otherwise have with Harris’ domestic agenda.

In 2024, Trump lied about how many Americans thought the election was rigged. He said in March 2024 that 82% of Americans believe the 2020 election was rigged. This is so far from the truth that it can be judged a lie. Among former Republican members of Congress, more than 80% said Biden’s victory was legitimate. A June 2023 Monmouth poll found 30% of Americans and 68% of Republicans believe Biden won through voter fraud. During an interview with Trump, Brett Baier told Trump point-blank that he lost the election, but of course, Fox does not dwell on that fact.
The public trials of Donald Trump reduced his image among Republicans, more of whom believe Trump acted illegally or unethically.
What partisans can never prove is that one individual, one election outcome, the commission of crimes by selected people, demagogues, or dreaded American political, social, and economic agendas will end America’s adherence to the United States Constitution, a writing we have cherished and followed longer than any other nation in the history of the world. Living and acting in the moment is fine, and we will have to suffer reckless talk, the drive for television ratings, pleasing specific audiences, and, unfortunately, rare violations of the Constitution. But the Constitution has endured, improved, and strengthened over nine (9) generations of Americans. Our laws have to conform to the Constitution, the courts enforce the Constitution, and our common law is dominated by U.S. Supreme Court decisions and all appellate decisions interpreting the Constitution. Every official, officer, executive, governmental entity, group, organization, and citizen in every city, county, state, and region is bound to obey the Constitution, their state constitutions, and all applicable state and federal laws. Large corporations and civic organizations have rules requiring compliance with the Constitution and laws. Officials take an oath to support and defend the Constitution. When advocates compare American politicians and parties to Hitler, Nazi Germany, communists, or Marxists, the analogy fails for one big reason: the United States Constitution. We have the Constitution, and none of the dictators followed a free constitution.

Harris-Trump Debate. Kamala’s precise and focused debate performance impressed us more than Trump’s agitated, ham-fisted approach of talking in absolute terms. She made the classy move of walking towards Trump to introduce herself and shake hands. Biden and Trump never shook hands at their debate. That is what winners do: they walk over to greet people and introduce themselves.

The National Debt and Congress will have much to say about spending during the Harris Administration. Neither major party talks about the National Debt, but it will increasingly impose its will.
Our allies will cheer Harris’ election because she will defend democracy in the world, and Trump has already shown his opposition to democracy and friendliness to authoritarian rule. Queen Elizabeth II found Trump “very rude.” Trump pointedly on camera refused to shake German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s hand. NATO, one of the most successful alliances in history, fears Trump’s re-election.
In subsequent rambling speeches, Trump made sure to let everyone know that the soldiers whose graves he visited were killed by Joe Biden, who mishandled the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Thus, the graves were used for political purposes and not just in speeches. Photos of the Trump Arlington National Cemetery visit were posted on a Trump website and have traveled throughout the internet. Afghanistan was and is Trump’s favorite topic. Nobody remembers that Trump made a deal with the Taliban.
Conclusion. Conservatives are not inclined to favor Harris’ proposals to provide more expensive benefits to new families and first-time home purchasers, or to bypass market forces with the government attacking “price gouging.” But those proposals will face opposition in Congress and be compromised in the conservative or moderate direction, in the manner provided by law. Trump again threatens authoritarian plans and a bloodbath, much like his J6 mob sought to bypass the regular proceedings of Congress. Trump, like the country at large, has never fully come to grips with the horrendous insult to the United States Constitution on J6. The upcoming disclosure of evidence from the J6 prosecution might seal Trump’s fate in this regard.

The NRA. It’s time to give the NRA credit for upholding the Second Amendment. Americans own more firearms per capita by far than any other nation. There is no danger that our right to keep and bear arms will be infringed for the foreseeable future. A hunter like Tim Walz is more likely to succeed than others. A ban on new sales of AR-15 and similar rifles might now be acceptable, together with liability for providing weapons to mentally ill or deranged persons or minors.
Russian Asset. The Russians hacked the DNC, harming Hillary Clinton’s 2016 candidacy. The Russian parliament or Duma loudly applauded Trump’s election. Trump tried to get Russia admitted back to the G7, but the other members disapproved.

Trump is shitting in his own nest. Loomer disrespects MTG and Lindsey Graham in writing, and Trump is seemingly OK with that. Trump enjoys his subordinates fighting with each other. This infighting when his poll numbers are falling is a sure sign Trump is on the way down politically. He wants to enjoy his time before the upcoming evidence dump in federal court.
Cruz wanted to delay the certification for more investigation. At least after the Capitol break-in, Lindsey Graham threw in the towel on the objections. MAGA Republicans got mad at Graham for this.
Speeches of Donald J. Trump
Tariff is a Bad Idea. Trump’s plan for a 10% tariff on all incoming goods --what Harris calls a sales tax -- will face retaliation, boost inflation, and harm American manufacturers, the U.S. economy, and tax receipts. He will not be able to pull off a mass deportation of illegal immigrants; he failed in that during his first term. A massive tariff would encourage a recession, just like the Smoot-Hawley Tariff did. Trump’s top economic advisor, Gary Cohn, resigned in 2018 because he opposed tariffs on steel that Trump intended to impose.
Slow Response to Covid. Bob Woodward recites that when Trump was first warned about COVID-19, he said it would go away. He was not initially concerned and did little until the pandemic overtook events. He misled the American people because he did not want to create a panic.
Let’s face it: Republicans, including myself, have criticized Kamala Harris for some superficial things. It is difficult to fault her for her job as vice-president because the vice-president has no authority to do much of anything other than the routine tasks in the Constitution. Trump did not want his vice-president to perform the ceremonial act in the 12th Amendment. What Harris has done or omitted is inconsequential compared to the string of falsehoods still streaming from Trump’s mouth, his traitorous friendship with Putin, and Trump’s civil and criminal legal problems that will not go away no matter what happens on Election Day.
After the debate, Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris on Instagram, driving some 380,000+ fans to the voter registration website (Register to vote in your state | Register to vote in your state | Register to vote in your state | Vote.gov (Register to vote in your state | Vote.gov) (Register to vote in your state | Register to vote in your state | Vote.gov (Register to vote in your state | Vote.gov))) within hours of the endorsement. Trump’s response was revealing. Although he had previously faked her endorsement of him and had said positive things about Swift, he posted, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” What did Swift do to incur his hate? Trump often and sometimes exclusively exudes disparagement, hate, and issues other put-downs.
States’ Rights. Remember States’ Rights, the constitutional principle conservatives doggedly stuck with through the years? Every state was responsible for its elections. Each sovereign state sent its Electoral College votes to Congress. Trump walked all over States’ Rights and had Texans filing lawsuits complaining about the sovereign State of Georgia’s election. He did not want to count the vote totals sent by the states, a clear violation of States’ Rights and the Constitution. He sought to take voting rights away from voters. Pence had to follow the 12th Amendment and could not have done what Trump demanded from him in strong terms. That’s the greatest sin: Trump ignored and violated the Constitution and wanted Pence to do something different. Trump resorted to mob violence and attempted mob rule.
Immediately after the debate, Trump claimed victory and spouted some bogus surveys or polls. Trump then claimed the debate was rigged, that it was three against one, which is inconsistent with his claim of victory.
TV Republicans are apoplectic about Harris now supporting a border wall, but she is co-opting one of Trump’s issues. They act like they do not want Harris to favor a border wall. But Trump recently flip-flopped himself by admitting that in 2020, he “came up a little bit short” of votes, and he also changed his stand on abortion.
In 1987, during a trip to Moscow, with Gorbachev as the Soviet leader, Trump and his first wife were flattered by KGB agents who regarded Trump as a potential asset. After returning from Russia, Trump placed full-page ads in three newspapers, at a cost of $94,801, decrying the nations that do not pay their share of defense costs, slamming Japan and by implication NATO. These foreign matters had nothing to do with Trump’s real estate investments but served the Soviet Union, which wanted to drive a wedge between the U.S. and NATO.
Kamala Harris gave an excellent acceptance speech, dispelling thoughts that she lacked gravitas or giggled too much. Her speech was well-written and delivered with passion. Her acceptance speech brought her out from the shadows of the vice-presidency.
Loomer wrote that the White House would smell like curry if Harris wins the election and called Harris “a drug using prostitute.” MTGe called out Loomer’s racist comment. Both MTG and Lindsey Graham object to Loomer accompanying Trump on the same plane as Trump’s family and top aides. They fear she is giving Trump bad information, including the one about Haitian immigrants eating cats and dogs in Springfield, Ohio. Then, there is the possibility that Trump likes to be around young and slender women, as shown by photographs showing Trump without his wedding ring.
America prided itself on over two centuries of the peaceful transfer of power. Nothing spoke better of our Constitution than this. When King George III heard that George Washington was resigning his Continental Army commission and returning to Mt. Vernon, he exclaimed, “Why, if he does that, he’s the greatest man in the world!” No president has sunk further below the dignity, honesty, civility, military service, legality, effectiveness, and greatness of George Washington than Donald J. Trump. A really important question is why Trump’s MAGA base continues to support him.
In relation to the story about Haitian immigrants in Ohio eating dogs and cats, he told CNN, “If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that’s what I’m going to do.” Some took this to mean that he did or would make up stories.
During each of their first three years, Obama deported more illegal immigrants than Trump did. Ron DeSantis brought this to our attention.
When Loomer makes comments about the smell of curry in the White House, how is that supposed to make J.D. Vance’s wife feel?
Running the Country. Trump talks like the president is, was, or should be responsible for controlling the whole economy when, in fact, the president must obtain Congressional support and approval for legislation. The independent Federal Reserve sets interest rates and controls inflation (if Congress does not spend too much money), private enterprises do the hiring, courts review some presidential actions, and nearly all transaction prices are set by the market economy in free exchanges at the rate of over 100 million transactions per day. According to reliable financial data, the stock market does not care which party takes the White House. The rule of law runs the United States, not the president, Congress, or the U.S. Supreme Court, for we have a government of laws, not of men and women. This is difficult for a narcissist and the unquestioning credulity of his followers to accept or understand.
During the moment of silence, an opportunity for prayer, in commemoration of the victims of Sept. 11, Trump is seen looking around, not praying or contemplating. He brought Laura Loomer to the ceremony; she earlier said 9-11 was an inside job. He was heckled by one in the crowd who noted his previous absence from these ceremonies.
Loyalty to others does not exist in Trump. Trump is damaging the other Republican candidates with Loomer at his side.
